December
We have been a little slow on updating the web site (sorry) but for all that follow us on facebook you will know we have been very busy. Our beautiful youngster Poplars Little Secret has finally made it out showjumping with Stuart and what a amazing start for them, at her first show at Addington Mannor she produced some fantastic double clears at British Novice and Discovery, her second show again double clears all the way and 4th in the British Novice, we are so thrilled with her and how she is handling the shows as she quite the hot head. With more shows lined up for Poplars Little Secret in December and January and a full yard off fantastic clients its going to be a busy few months….
It has also been a difficult few months for us as we have made the sad decision to retire Arius aka Jack Jack, we will retire him from all competition work but keep him in light work at home, this fabulous boy has done so much for us we just want him to be happy and healthy and that is the most important thing for us, the boys heart just isn’t in it anymore….
On a brighter note we have welcomed two new members of staff, Imogen Knight who has taken over from Christopher Oliver (as he has moved on to pasture new) Imogen will take the main role as travelling groom, we also welcome Courtney Saunders who has come to us as an apprentice groom, we are so pleased they have come to Poplars as their care for the horses and attention to detail is fantastic.
